butterfly doily

i finished this today. i made it for my aunt anna for christmas. i am gonna frame it so she can hang it on the wall. and let me tell you this thing eerked my nerves bad. i couldnt follow the directions and make it fit right. there was supposed to be 9 pineapples around the top pineapple and i got 6. so i have no clue how it was supposed to work. eventually i threw out the wing i messed up by following the directions and just followed the picture instead. so this is as close as i could get to the original. here is a link. its not a free pattern but here is where you could buy it http://www.maggiescrochet.com/pages/Home/k140_butterfly_doily_2_main.htm
